1. It's getting colder
The Summer heats are over now. As you will be adding mass on your body, you will also sweat more. So you will certainly appreciate the colder weather.
2. The routine is back
During Summer, our schedules are often irregular. We travel, we are on vacation, we spend more time outdoors. In September, we have to get back to our routine though. Creating a gym, meal and sleep routine and adding it to your schedule is September is much easier. Making it a habit will help you stick to the routine.
3. Start getting your summer body now
Maybe you wanted to show off your big muscles at the beach this summer. If you started bulking late, shortly before the summer, you probably didn't make it on time. Remember that growing muscle needs consistency and patience. Give yourself enough time to grow the mass.
4. A plan that you can adjust
Have a plan. Aim for a gain of 1 kg (2.2 lbs) per month. If you start in September, by June next year, you will have gained 10 kg (22 lbs) which will definitely be a noticeable increase in mass on your frame.
Start by increasing your caloric consumption by 20%. Watch the results. Have you gained less than 1 kg after the first month? Increase more (by 30%).
As you will progress, you will need to keep increasing the caloric intake each month. More muscle will require more energy.
5. All the seasonal goodies are waiting for you
The year-end is full of great festivities. Take advantage of all the delicious seasonal food. It will help you add more size!
